Arbalest Solutions trading as SofServ, hereinafter referred to as SofServ, is the owner of VVCR™ which is a patented and trademarked vouchering solution.

Voucher Delivery policy

VVCR™ vouchers are delivered electronically either via SMS and/or e-mail. Note that SofServ cannot guarantee that SMSs and/or e-mails will be received at the same time they are sent. In instances where SMSs and/or emails are delivered by third parties, these parties are responsible for guaranteeing the delivery of vouchers.

Voucher Redemption policy

VVCR™ vouchers provided by third parties are subject to the terms and conditions of these parties. These vouchers are redeemable at the websites and as per the instructions provided by these parties. All support queries related to these vouchers, including but not limited to their use, redemption, and validity, must be directed to the respective parties at the contact details provided on their respective websites. SofServ accepts no responsibility and cannot be held accountable for the content, offer, and fulfilment of these parties’ vouchers.

Customer Privacy Policy

We respect the privacy of every User. As a result of this, we would like to inform you regarding the way we would use your personal data.

The points below will help you understand our general approach towards the use of your personal data, however, to the extent that there is any conflict as a result of a waiver of this clause by a User, that specific clause, and not the general approach, will be enforced and supersedes the general approach.

By submitting your personal data to SofServ, it will be deemed to have been given with your permission, where necessary and appropriate, for disclosures referred to in this policy.

General Approach to Personal Data

SofServ does not and will not amend or alter any personal information provided by a User. It is the User’s responsibility to update its information.

SofServ will collect and use personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified and for other compatible purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law.

SofServ will only retain personal information as long as necessary for the fulfilment of an offering and for related renewal offerings.

SofServ will only collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.

Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

SofServ will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

SofServ is committed to conducting business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained, however, SofServ does not guarantee a breach of such confidentiality arising out of malicious activities and/or activities over which it has no control.

In instances where personal information is provided by a customer to a third party providing a voucher, the treatment of that customer’s personal information is subject to the approach applied by the third provider. In such instances the customer releases SofServ entirely from any liability and/or obligation related to the use of their personal information.

Responsibility

SofServ takes responsibility for ensuring that the service operates as it should, allowing customers to select and receive vouchers as per the values stipulated and with the information required for them to redeem them.

Country of domicile

This service is governed by the laws of South Africa.

Variation

SofServ may, in its sole discretion, change these terms and conditions or any part thereof at any time without notice.
